OSCAR was founded in 1969 by Georgios Politis and originally operated as a manufacturer of cast iron products such as cast iron pumps, pulleys, gearboxes and other high-demand products.
In 1975 the increasing demand for the high-quality cast iron products that the company manufactures leads to the transfer of the company to its current privately-owned premises and facilities of a total area of 20,000 square meters in the industrial area of Markopoulo.
In 1987, OSCAR first presents its soon to be trademark product, a cast iron boiler series ranging from 30,000 to 300,000 kcal/h in the Greek and international markets. Oscar, assured for the quality of its product sets new limits by offering a 20 year warranty.
In 1995, initially and later in 2006, due to its continuous growth OSCAR expands its facilities by constructing two new buildings, totaling 2,400 square meters. Measures.
The implementation of the new European Directives for boilers and hot water productions (applicable from September 2015) leads the company to design and manufacture new energy-efficient boilers with energy labeling. By adopting the ErP regulations, OSCAR remains at the forefront of the market by setting a new era in response to tomorrow’s challenges.
Today, OSCAR is very happy to present to the Greek and European markets:
- New series of condensing boilers with ErP certification, from 30,000 up to 340,000 Kcal/h added to its product range, which now now reaches 1,200,000 Kcal/h.
- Individual condensing oil unit, 20,000 and 30,000kcal/h, with stainless steel exchanger, ErP circulator and filter neutralization of condensates.
- Wall gas condensing unit with stainless steel exchanger, ErP circulator, digital display, plc technology, self-diagnosis error and 109% performance.
- Stainless heat exchangers up to 350,000 kcal/h accompanying all ErP boiler models.
